秩父宮記念公園　Chichibunomiya Memorial Park

　

　

秩父宮記念公園は、日本の皇族の秩父宮殿下が、かつて過ごしていた元別邸を整備し、公開している公園です。

美しい自然の中の公園で、ここから雄大な富士山を眺めることが出来ます。

The former villa of the late Prince Chichibu is now open to the public as Chichibunomiya Memorial Park. From this beautiful park, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Mt. Fuji.

～水琴窟Suikinkutsu (water harp cave)の音を聞いてみよう～

～ Listen to the sound of suikinkutsu ! ～

 

水琴窟は、庭や茶室の外に作られていて、水滴が落下したときに発する、かすかな水音を聞いて楽しむ装置です。まるで、ハープを奏でているような音が聞こえます。

Suikinkutsu, or water harp cave, is a garden ornament placed in Japanese gardens, particularly those that have a tea-ceremony house. People enjoy listening to the subtle splashing sound that the suikinkutsu creates when water drips through it. The pleasant sound is like that of a harp.

　

　　

 

富士仏舎利塔平和公園　Fuji Bussharito Heiwa Park

　

　

　

高台にある白い塔の立つ公園で、園内の見晴台から御殿場市と富士山全体を見渡すことが出来ます。入園は無料。

The park located on a hill has a white Busshari Tower (Tower of Buddha’s Ashes). From the observation platform, you can enjoy a view of Gotemba City and Mt. Fuji. No admission fee is required.

アクセスは、東京駅や新宿駅から直行バスが出ている他、ＪＲ御殿場駅からの無料のシャトルバスが、約２０分間隔で運行されています。

Direct bus services are provided from Tokyo and Shinjuku Stations to the mall. From JR Gotemba Station, a free shuttle bus departs approximately every twenty minutes.

御殿場高原時之栖は、富士山のふもとにある広大なリゾート施設です。温泉やホテル、アスレチックや釣り堀がある他、夏と冬には、壮大なイルミネーションが開催されます。

Gotemba Kogen Toki-no-Sumika is a huge resort complex, consisting of hot springs, hotels, athletic facilities, a fishing pond and more. During summer and winter, the complex is decorated with magnificent illuminations.
