伊豆半島の西部、駿河湾に面している土肥地域は、かつては土肥町と呼ばれていました。２００４年に周りの町と合併し、伊豆市の一部となりました。温泉や海水浴場、金山、駿河湾を臨む美しい景勝地など、たくさんの見どころがあります。
The Toi area, in the western part of the Izu Peninsula, faces Suruga Bay. The area used to be Toi Town until it merged with neighboring towns to become part of Izu City in 2004. Toi has many attractive spots, including hot springs, swimming beaches, a gold mine and beautiful landscapes with magnificent views of Suruga Bay.

黄金崎
Cape Koganezaki

夕日が駿河湾に沈む際、岬の岩肌が日の光を受けてきらきらと黄金色に輝くことから、黄金崎と呼ばれるようになったといいます。
遊歩道のある絶景スポットで、夕方に訪れるのがお勧めです。
When the sun sets into Suruga Bay, the rocks on the cape shine like gold, reflecting the evening sun. This is why the cape is called Koganezaki, meaning golden cape.
This cape with a magnificent view has a walking trail. Visiting at sunset is recommended.

駿河湾に突き出た不思議な形の岩は、馬の頭のように見えることから、「馬ロック」と呼ばれています。
A strangely shaped rock projecting into Suruga Bay looks like a horse head and is called uma rock, meaning horse rock.

天気が良ければ、富士山を臨むことも出来ます。
On clear days, you will be able to see Mt. Fuji.

恋人岬
Koibito Misaki (Lovers’ Cape)

恋人たちの聖地とも言われる、絶景スポットです。土肥地域に昔から伝わる、福太郎とおよねの恋物語が、恋人岬の由来となっています。
Koibito Misaki is a scenic spot and a holy place for lovers. The love story of Fukutaro and Oyone, folklore of the Toi area, is said to be the origin of Koibito Misaki’s being a holy place for lovers.

岬の先端までボードウォークが整備されています。
There is a boardwalk to the tip of the cape.

所々に置いてあるかわいい木製チェア
The boardwalk is equipped with cute wooden benches.

ハートが至るところにあります。
You will find heart symbols everywhere.

福太郎とおよねの恋物語に因んだ愛の鐘。
愛の鐘を一緒に鳴らすと、絆は一層強くなるそうです。
Love Call Bell associated with the love story of Fukutaro and Oyone.
By ringing the bell together, the couple’s love is said to grow stronger.

愛しい人の名前を叫んで３回鳴らすと、思いが叶うとも言われています。
It is also said that calling the name of the person you love and ringing the bell three times will fulfill your wish.
