Dogashima is a beautiful scenic spot in Nishiizu Town, Kamo County. The view of several islands scattered on the sea is dynamic and magnificent. Viewing from an excursion boat that tours around the island caves is recommended.

トンボロ現象

堂ヶ島では、トンボロ現象が見られます。
トンボロ現象とは、普段は海によって隔てられている陸地と島が、干潮時になると水が干上がって陸続きとなり、足を濡らすことなく島まで歩いて渡れるようになる大変珍しい現象のことで、島までの道が出来るタイミングは非常に限られているので、確認が必要です。
